The Croatian city of Vinkovci is set to welcome the FCI-IGP World Championship in Working Dog Sports from September 23 to 29, 2024. The annual championship, which occurs each September, attracts elite working dogs and handlers from across the globe. Vinkovci, chosen as this year’s host city, will see competitors from 38 nations vie for top honors in three key disciplines: Tracking, Obedience, and Protection.
The Croatian Kennel Club, the nation’s premier cynological organization, has undertaken the challenge of organizing this prestigious international event. The City of Vinkovci has been selected as the venue following the city’s renowned Vinkovci Autumn Festival, ensuring a vibrant and engaging backdrop for the championship.
In a formal agreement, the Croatian Kennel Club and the City of Vinkovci have confirmed the city’s role as host. This agreement marks a significant milestone for both the local community and the international cynology community.

Competitions in Obedience and Protection will be held at the Cibalia Stadium from September 25 to 29, running daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Meanwhile, Tracking events will take place in the surrounding areas of Vinkovci, offering a comprehensive and thrilling experience for all attendees.
