A 1.9-acre section of farmland in Arminghall, near Norwich, is being considered for conversion into a dedicated dog exercise park. The land, part of the Crown Point Estate, could soon offer dog owners a private space to exercise their pets, with plans for an online booking system to manage use of the field.
The proposal includes five parking spaces and will allow for dog training sessions with slots available in 25-minute and 50-minute intervals. Each booking would accommodate up to six dogs, with group bookings available through private inquiries, limited to five cars and 10 dogs per session.
The facility, located next to Manor Farm, would operate daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., aligning with daylight hours as no lighting will be provided. The space will be fenced with 1.8-meter-tall barriers and equipped with waste bins and disposal bags, with regular collections arranged by a commercial waste service.
The Crown Point Estate has yet to comment on the proposal, which is still awaiting planning approval.
