A two-year-old Dogue De Bordeaux named Bear is seeking a forever home after his previous owner had to surrender him due to health issues. Born on January 19, 2023, Bear is now at PACT Animal Sanctuary in Hingham, where he is described as an incredibly friendly dog eager to share his affectionate nature with a loving family.
Bear is known for his bouncy personality and his love for cuddles and attention. He enjoys walks and playtime, though he can become strong on the lead, particularly when he spots a cat. To ensure his safety and the safety of others, Bear has undergone successful muzzle training and wears a muzzle comfortably when out and about.
Bear is a quick learner but will benefit from additional basic training to help manage his energy and excitement. He may jump up for attention, so consistent training is important to help him channel his enthusiasm in a positive way.
