The Grand Junction Fire Department (GJFD) sprang into action on Sunday after receiving a call about a dog trapped in an HVAC vent.
The department’s Truck 6 Crew responded swiftly to the scene, where they found Cooper, a family dog, stuck in the vent. Firefighters worked carefully to extricate the animal, ensuring minimal distress for the pup.
Fortunately, Cooper emerged from the ordeal unharmed, with no injuries reported.
In a recent Facebook post, the GJFD expressed their ongoing commitment to the community, stating, “We’re always here, whether it’s rescuing pets, fighting fires, or helping our community stay safe.”
