On the second day of her highly-anticipated Eras Tour in Singapore, Taylor Swift thrilled fans with the announcement of the fourth and ultimate variant of her bonus tracks for the upcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department.” Swift, known for her surprises, took to Instagram during her concert at the National Stadium on March 3 to share the monochromatic album art of the special edition, titled “The Black Dog.”
During the live session, Swift teased fans with a sneak peek into the lyrics, revealing a line from the song: “Old habits die screaming…” This revelation added another layer of excitement for Swifties. The newest edition is now available for pre-order on Taylor Swift’s official website. The complete album, a follow-up to her 2022 release “Midnights,” is scheduled to drop on April 19, 2024.
The “The Tortured Poets Department” album boasts a series of bonus tracks, with “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” and “The Albatross” being previously announced in chronological order. The first track was unveiled at the Grammys, followed by the second at her Melbourne Eras Tour show in February. The third, “The Albatross,” was disclosed during her Australian concert on February 22.
Adding to the excitement of her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift’s Singapore concert featured A-list guests, including BLACKPINK’s Lisa, SHINee’s Minho, and Irish actor Barry Keoghan. Swift surprised the audience with unique performances, blending “Long Story Short” (evermore) with “The Story of Us” (Speak Now – Taylor’s Version) and a fusion of “Clean” (1989 – Taylor’s Version) with “evermore.”
