Responsible Pet Ownership
Dog owners are reminded of their responsibility to ensure that their pets are securely kept on their property or leashed when off-property. Pets must be under the control of a responsible individual at all times.
Dog tags play an important role in identifying your pet if they become lost or stray from home.
For more details, please refer to By-law #22-76, which covers licensing, owner responsibilities, and penalties. Additional information regarding exotic animals can be found on the municipality’s Animal Control page.
Tags can be obtained at the Municipal Office.
