The Grand Junction Fire Department (GJFD) sprang into action on Sunday after receiving a call about a dog trapped in an HVAC vent.

The department’s Truck 6 Crew responded swiftly to the scene, where they found Cooper, a family dog, stuck in the vent. Firefighters worked carefully to extricate the animal, ensuring minimal distress for the pup.

Fortunately, Cooper emerged from the ordeal unharmed, with no injuries reported.
