Byron Bay’s Stone & Wood Brewery is set to host an exciting Dog Adoption Day on Saturday, April 5th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in partnership with Willow Tree Sanctuary. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to meet and adopt a rescue dog, foster an animal, or simply enjoy a cuddle with some lovable pups.
The day will feature an array of adorable rescue dogs looking for forever homes, with Willow Tree Sanctuary bringing their finest furry companions to Stone & Wood’s Tasting Room. Whether you’re considering adoption, fostering, or just want to share some love with the dogs, everyone is invited.
Jess Flynn from Stone & Wood expressed excitement about supporting Willow Tree Sanctuary, noting the vital role the sanctuary plays in animal rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts. “If you’ve been thinking about adding a new furry friend to your family, we hope to see you on April 5th,” said Flynn.
Willow Tree Sanctuary co-founder Kate Morris emphasized the importance of foster carers, who are crucial to the sanctuary’s operations. “Our foster carers are our lifeblood, and we value each and every one of them,” Morris said.
Adding to the fun, 100 Mile Table will be preparing tasty pup-cakes for the dogs, while visitors can relax with a cold beer and delicious food from the courtyard. In a show of continued support, Stone & Wood will donate $1 from every litre of beer sold throughout April to Willow Tree Sanctuary, helping fund their ongoing work to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.
