Plans to create a new dog walking field and car park at Hasty’s Adventure Farm in Clacton-on-Sea have been officially approved. The application was submitted by Smith Farms, the owners of Hasty’s Adventure Farm, to transform farmland into a designated area for dog owners.
The dog walking field will offer a secure, off-lead area for pets, providing an improved local amenity for the community. While the field is intended primarily for local residents, it is expected to attract holidaymakers and visitors to the farm as well.
The only changes to the land will be the addition of fencing and a secure car parking area, ensuring safety and convenience for those using the facility. Previously, the land had been used for sheep grazing.
This new addition is part of an ongoing effort to enhance responsible dog ownership and improve local amenities for pet owners in the area.
