A styptic powder

A towel

A table or other flat surface

2. Brush Your Pomeranian’s Hair

The first step is to brush your Pomeranian’s hair thoroughly. This will help to remove any mats or tangles, and it will also help you to determine the length of the hair that you want to trim.

3. Trim the Body

Once your Pomeranian’s hair is brushed, you can begin trimming the body. Start by using the thinning shears to trim the hair around the neck, chest, and stomach. Be sure to keep the hair in a circular shape, and to trim it evenly.

Next, use the straight shears to trim the hair on the back and sides of the body. Again, be sure to keep the hair in a circular shape, and to trim it evenly.

4. Trim the Legs

The legs should be trimmed in a similar fashion to the body. Use the thinning shears to trim the hair around the ankles, and then use the straight shears to trim the hair on the rest of the legs.

5. Trim the Tail

The tail should be trimmed in a straight line. Use the thinning shears to trim the hair around the base of the tail, and then use the straight shears to trim the rest of the tail.

6. Trim the Face

The face should be trimmed in a short, smooth style. Use the thinning shears to trim the hair around the eyes, nose, and mouth. Be sure to be careful around the eyes, as you do not want to cut the dog‘s eyelashes.

7. Trim the Paws

The paws should be trimmed short, so that the dog’s nails do not get caught on anything. Use the nail clippers to trim the nails, and then use the styptic powder to stop any bleeding.

8. Bathe Your Pomeranian

Once you have finished trimming your Pomeranian’s hair, you should bathe them. This will help to remove any loose hair, and it will also help to keep their skin healthy.

9. Dry Your Pomeranian

After you have bathed your Pomeranian, you should dry them thoroughly. This will help to prevent them from getting cold, and it will also help to prevent their hair from matting.

10. Enjoy Your Newly Trimmed Pomeranian!

Now that you have trimmed your Pomeranian’s hair, you can enjoy their new look. Be sure to brush them regularly to keep their hair looking its best.
