The harrowing ordeal unfolded when the young boy was assaulted by his aunt’s pet pit bull mix, causing puncture wounds that marred his head, arm, and face. The incident occurred shortly before 3pm and necessitated immediate surgical intervention to treat the inflicted injuries.
The boy, identified as Joshua, was expeditiously transferred to Bellevue Hospital, where skilled medical professionals undertook a surgical intervention aimed at rectifying the tissue damage inflicted by the dog’s attack. The gravity of the dog bites necessitated medical experts to administer skin grafts, a measure undertaken to facilitate the healing process.
