The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community for help in identifying a woman alleged to be involved in a shoplifting incident.
On August 27, Sheriff Daniel Edwards confirmed that a woman entered the Tractor Supply store located on Highway 190 in Hammond, around 2 p.m. During her visit, she reportedly loaded four bags of dog food onto a flatbed cart.
According to authorities, the woman was observed bypassing all points of sale without making a purchase and subsequently exited the store. It is alleged that she then proceeded to a blue Nissan SUV, where a male individual assisted her in loading the bags.
Sheriff Edwards has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying the woman. Individuals with information regarding her identity are urged to contact Detective Earl McFarland at 985-902-2043. Alternatively, those wishing to remain anonymous can reach out to Crime Stoppers.
