Kristin Chenoweth, the Emmy-winning actress and Broadway veteran, had never envisioned herself getting married until she met musician Josh Bryant. Chenoweth, who had considered herself a self-proclaimed bachelorette throughout her life, revealed that she had previously been engaged but couldn’t go through with it. However, everything changed when she crossed paths with Bryant.
In her own words, “I was never going to get married. I even got engaged before and couldn’t do it. Until I met Josh. Then I was like, ‘Why would I ever let this guy go?'” Chenoweth and Bryant, with an age difference of 14 years, exchanged vows in a pink-themed wedding ceremony in Texas on September 2.
While speaking about the wedding planning process, Chenoweth humorously admitted that discussing her wedding used to make her uncomfortable. However, with the assistance of their wedding planner, Crystal Frazier, she felt at ease.
Chenoweth also praised her groom, emphasizing that he had taken on an active role in the wedding preparations. She expressed gratitude for his help in managing appointments and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. She described herself as an “advanced bride” and highlighted how his involvement made her feel more secure.
The couple’s wedding, hosted at a private residence, was attended by notable guests such as Kathy Najimy, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Kenny Ortega, Chely Wright, Ty Herndon, Jennifer Aspen, and Broadway composer Andrew Lippa. The décor featured a romantic blend of soft colors, including white, ivory, creme, soft peach, blush to medium pink, and champagne tones. The wedding space was adorned with a stunning array of flowers, including calla lilies, garden roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, and more, creating a beautiful and memorable setting for their special day.
