A new study has revealed that dog owners in the United Kingdom take an average of 100 photos of their beloved pets every month, which accumulates to approximately 13,200 photos over their dog’s lifetime. The research also found that poodle owners were the most photo-obsessed, followed closely by Chihuahua and Border Terrier owners.
The study showed that 30 percent of dog owners preferred to photograph their furry companions over their partners (16 percent) and even their children (23 percent). Additionally, 36 percent of respondents had their dogs as their phone’s screensaver, while 11 percent admitted to having cushions with their dog’s face on them and using dog photos for Christmas cards.
Despite the enthusiasm for photographing their dogs, 35 percent of respondents found it challenging to capture high-quality photos of their pets. This difficulty has led some dog owners to consider investing in specialist photography services to ensure they have professional-quality images of their four-legged friends.
