FORT WASHINGTON, MD — In a shocking incident that unfolded on September 22 at approximately 9:10 p.m., a three-year-old Giant Schnauzer named Duke was stolen from the back seat of his owner’s vehicle in the 10100 block of Livingston Road in Fort Washington. The brazen theft involved two suspects, one of whom was armed, leaving the community in shock.
The Prince George’s County Police Department reported that the owner had pulled her car over when the two suspects approached her vehicle. In a terrifying turn of events, one of the culprits brandished a firearm and forcibly removed Duke from the back seat before making a swift escape.
The devastated owner is now pleading for the safe return of her beloved pet, Duke.
In response to this distressing incident, Prince George’s County Crime Solvers has stepped in and announced a substantial reward of $2,500. This cash reward will be granted to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the individuals responsible for the abduction of Duke.
