One resident, Greg Finlay, and his wife Sue, experienced the excruciating loss of their 18-month-old cattle dog, Clancy, right in the confines of their three-acre property. Mr. Finlay described the heart-wrenching ordeal as “horrific,” unable to find adequate words to encapsulate the pain they endured.

Clancy’s final moments were marked by a series of distressing symptoms, including vomiting, seizures, yelping, and jaw snapping. These distressing signs are indicative of poisoning, possibly from 1080 bait. The Finlays suspect that Clancy may have ingested a bait while innocently approaching their front gate shortly before his health rapidly deteriorated.

Tragically, Clancy succumbed to these severe symptoms within a mere two hours, leaving his owners bereaved and seeking answers amidst the devastating loss.
